• Hire a registered nature guide. Not only will they help you spot wildlife, but they’ll also make sure you don’t lose your way in the dense forest.
• Respect the true residents of the park—the wild animals. Observe them from a safe distance without disturbing their natural behavior.
• Soak in the sounds of the forest—the chirping birds, rustling leaves, and flowing streams. Let nature’s music replace your stereo.
• Blend in with the jungle by wearing earthy tones like khaki, olive green, or other muted colors instead of flashy outfits.
• Be mindful of resources—switch off lights, fans, and taps whenever they’re not in use.
• Before checking out of your accommodation inside the Tiger Reserve, make sure to collect your clearance certificate—it’s mandatory.
• Each room in the tourist zone is limited to two adults and two children (below 12 years). Plan your stay in advance based on room availability.

Things You Should Avoid in Corbett:

• Carrying firearms inside the Tiger Reserve is strictly forbidden—leave them at home.
• Avoid smoking or lighting fires of any kind. They are a major risk to the forest and its wildlife.
• Night drives are not allowed—driving after sunset inside the reserve is strictly prohibited.
• Cooking is not permitted anywhere within the National Park.
• Keep it quiet—playing music, transistors, or loud recorders is not allowed.
• Stay on the designated tracks. Driving off-route damages the forest floor and disturbs wildlife.
• No honking and no overspeeding—both are strictly banned inside the reserve.
• Respect the zone boundaries—visitors are not allowed in restricted areas.
• Never shout, tease, or feed animals. Such actions disturb wildlife and can attract heavy penalties.
• Non-vegetarian food is completely prohibited within the reserve premises.
• Do not attempt to enter the National Park after sunset—it’s against the rules.
• Park entry permits are non-transferable. Avoid any unfair means while using them.
