All Corbett safari bookings are regulated by the forest department and follow the official guidelines set by the Government of India. The allocation of safari zones, vehicles, and certified guides (naturalists) is handled through an automated system to maintain transparency and equal distribution across zones.

Please note: Visitors cannot choose specific zones, drivers, or guides, as these are assigned automatically by the forest authority. Each zone in Corbett offers rich wildlife diversity, and chances of spotting animals, including tigers, are comparable across zones.

Planning a wildlife safari in Corbett? To ensure a smooth and confirmed booking for your Jeep or Canter Safari, please share the following details with us:

• Visitor details: Full name, age, and gender of each guest as per the official ID proof
• Preferred date and time slot for the safari (choose between Morning or Afternoon)
• ID document number: Accepted IDs include Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License, PAN Card, etc.
• Advance payment: Entry fee and applicable safari charges are to be paid in full to initiate the reservation
• Non-refundable: Please note, all bookings—Jeep Safari and Canter Safari—are non-cancellable and non-refundable
• ID verification: Bring the same ID used during booking for verification at the safari gate
• Booking timeline for Indian nationals: Book at least 45 days in advance to secure your slot
• Booking timeline for foreign tourists: Bookings should be made at least 90 days before the safari date
• Passport required: Passport details are mandatory for all international visitors
• Permit availability: Safari permits are granted on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to zone availability
• If your booking cannot be processed due to limited availability or a system error, the full amount will be refunded to your bank account. We will notify you promptly in such cases.

Tip: Booking early increases your chances of getting your preferred safari zone. Permits are limited and high in demand during peak seasons.

• All visitors must carry valid entry permits, which can be booked online by submitting the required documents during the safari reservation process.
• Please note that entry permits to Corbett National Park are provisional and may be altered or revoked by the forest department without prior notice.
• The final decision on park entry and safari operations lies with the Director of Corbett Tiger Reserve. All bookings are subject to rules and policies defined by the forest authority.
• Safari permits are strictly non-transferable and are valid only for the person whose name appears on the booking.
• Only authorized and government-registered nature guides are allowed to accompany safari vehicles. Swapping or choosing your own guide is not permitted.
• Entry into any safari zone after sunset is strictly prohibited. Safaris must operate only during official park hours.
• Day visitors are not allowed to enter the Dhikala zone unless they have a confirmed booking at the forest rest houses within that zone.
• For your safety and wildlife conservation, stepping out of the Jeep during the safari is strictly not allowed under any circumstances.
• Please refrain from bringing pets on your wildlife trip. Pets are not permitted inside Corbett Tiger Reserve.
• All visitors must follow the rules outlined under the Wildlife Protection Act. Your cooperation is essential in preserving the natural habitat and wildlife of the park.

• Jeep and Canter Safaris are available in two fixed shifts daily: Morning and Afternoon, based on park regulations.
• Safari Timings: Morning safari operates from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM, while the afternoon safari runs from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Timings may vary slightly depending on the season.
• A recent passport-size photograph of each visitor is mandatory at the time of booking for permit issuance.
• The number of people per safari vehicle is strictly regulated. Exceeding the prescribed limit may result in denial of entry at the park gate.
• Tourists are responsible for their personal belongings during the safari. Neither the guide nor the driver can be held liable for lost or misplaced items.
• Please ensure you have thoroughly reviewed all park rules and safety instructions before participating in any Jeep Safari at Jim Corbett National Park.
